In her “Karma” era, she shared with the outlet, “When I’m in that Karma beast makeup, I am in it and feeling it.” Growing up in the spotlight as a dancer on Dance Moms, JoJo has always understood that attention comes with the territory. She noted, “I learned at a very young age that in the public eye, any attention is attention…whether it be good attention or just attention.”
Known for her signature style of a high ponytail, oversized bows, and glitter, JoJo reflected on her experience as a child star and the online hate she received for her vibrant personality. “I was the most hated on that show. But my mom was like, nobody can take away what you did,” she stated. “Sure, people are commenting we want JoJo to go home, but people are also commenting, we want JoJo. You know what I mean?”
