Keep a low profile, cowboy!
The music industry is reportedly getting concerned about Beyoncé’s sudden absence, sources tell Page Six.
Her much-hyped country album, “Cowboy Carter,” seems to be fading away, leaving industry insiders puzzled as to why the superstar has seemingly disappeared.
Whispers suggest that Beyoncé and Jay-Z might be laying low to avoid getting caught up in the controversy surrounding Diddy’s abuse scandal, considering their long-standing ties with the hip-hop mogul.
“This was supposed to be Beyoncé’s moment with her highly anticipated country album released just two months ago, but she’s nowhere to be found, and the album is losing momentum,” a source revealed.
“Just a month before the album dropped, Jay-Z was on stage at the Grammys, complaining about Beyoncé never winning Album of the Year. But now what? Does he expect her to win with ‘Cowboy Carter’ when there’s no promotion, no public appearances, and no outreach to the academy?”
While the album, featuring collaborations with Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, and Miley Cyrus, isn’t a failure, the source added, “It’s definitely not the smash hit everyone was expecting.”
